About Fox House
Fox House is a magnificent medieval building, over 1200 years old and perched high on top of a rocky outcrop at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees. It is positioned in a spectacular rural location 12km from the nearest town of Tremp in the province of Lerida, nestled in the heart of a UNESCO protected geo park (geoparcorigens.cat) and a certified starlight reserve.
This is a very popular area for walking, climbing, mountain biking and bird watching etc. surrounded by nature its an ideal location to spend unforgettable days of complete relaxation and sharing a good time with family and friends. Known locally as ‘Casa Guilla’ (Guilla meaning Fox in old Catalan) the stone property has earned its living as a garrison, a farm and a rural bed and breakfast.
We have nine spacious en-suite rooms, each uniquely designed with the greatest attention to every detail. There are ample communal areas including an incredible open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Throughout the house you will find an ever changing gallery of international art, sculpture and curiosities. The house is available on a room by room basis (during certain seasons) with breakfast, and on special request, evening meals. It is also available for full private hire. With outside spaces, terraces and gathering areas, Fox House is an excellent choice for events such as weddings, birthdays, product launches, retreats, group getaways and corporate events. Set over three floors the house can comfortably accommodate up to 18 people.
